Choir Director
Bryan Cosham
Biography:
My name is Bryan Cosham and I am currently the Music Director at St. John Church in Middletown, CT. I play the organ and direct both the Youth and Adult Choirs at our weekend masses. I began my music career as a young boy at the age of 7 when I was in First Grade at St. John School. Since then, my love for music has grown each and every day and I use my talent, which is truly a gift from God, to give to my parish and to provide spiritual devotion during our weekend masses. I began my career at St. John Church by playing the organ at the 4:00 p.m. Mass when I was a freshman in High School. I then began the Youth Choir which still has some of our very first members in it today. After a while, I was then asked to direct the Adult Choir and began to conduct the Music Ministry at St. John's. I find joy in providing the music for mass each Sunday and singing. What better way to serve God then through music!
Youth Choir:
The Youth Choir is always looking for new members! The Youth Choir sings at the 8:00 a.m. Mass every Sunday. Children should be in at least Second Grade to join the Youth Choir and some of our members are now in college! Please feel free to join us any Sunday if you can!
Adult Choir:
The Adult Choir is also always looking for new members! The Adult Choir sings at the 10:00 am Mass every Sunday and when rehearsal time is needed for holidays or special events, we practice for about an hour before mass at 9:00 a.m. If you would like to join the Youth Choir, please feel free to stop up in the Choir Loft and join us! There is NO experience required!!! :o)
